"Policy for Child Protection and Safeguarding Tutors in Brass Band"

written and issued by the East Anglian Brass Band Association

The Policy comes complete with interview and reference forms and several other necessary documents. It should not be altered in any way, as many people have their own ideas, some of which are not valid and some lead to nowhere. Any alteration may make the policy void. The Policy is approved by Suffolk County Council through the Suffolk Child Protection Committee and was written in liaison with that body. The Association has a SAFE Certificate in Child Protection that was awarded by Suffolk Child Protection Committee in May 2002.

We send the policy to you with your band's name printed on it.

We do have to make a nominal charge of six pounds per copy to cover printing, binding and postage.

The importance of having a Child Protection Policy in place is becoming more and more necessary in this modern day and age. Many funding authorities will need a copy of an adopted Child Protection Policy before awarding grants.
